LEED School Design
In the future there was a world where people had no regard for their environment. It became a technological period where the environment was ravaged by an incomprehensible amount of pollution. Every day the average person's human footprint grew exponentially. Until one day the idea of creating an energy efficient school was inquired that would "LEED" a movement, which would change the world and because of that, people would start to realize the impact they had on their environment. Until finally the idea became a reality and an energy efficient school was created. Senior year, our class was given the task to design an energy efficient LEED school. We were able to choose our partner and we had very little parameters. We were free to go after the LEED credits we wanted to and could choose whether it would be an elementary school, middle school, or high school. The program was based on our design and what we saw fit. We spent a semester designing and creating the school on Revit. We also created a powerpoint at the end to present our school. |
Daniel John Stine's DesignOur drafting class created Daniel John Stine's Design using AutoCAD. We used his book, "Residential Design Using AutoCAD 2017", to create all the floor plans and the section of the wall; as well as the section of the house. At the end, we furnished it based on individual assessment of where the furnishing should be placed. It took may months to complete and after finishing the drawings of Stine's design, we created a model based off of the drawings.
